Here’s a sweet idea that kids can craft to celebrate their loved ones beyond February 14th. By giving a keychain, a pin, or a necklace, your Valentine will feel loved when she looks at her heart all year round!
What you’ll need:
- Wooden hearts (I like these because you can decide if you want to make a pin-no hole-or a necklace or keychain with a hole)
- Beads
- Tassels
- Keychains
- Paint
- String
- Letter stamps
- Black ink pad
- Turbo tacky glue
Make it!
- Paint your hearts and let dry. (You can also leave the hearts natural wood.)
- Stamp your message onto the conversation heart.
- Loop string through the hole to make a necklace or keychain. String on beads. For a keychain, knot it a few times onto the keychain.
- To make a pin, glue pin-back to the back of the heart. Glue the ends of the tassel to the bottom edge.
