We are going on #vaca tomorrow and I could not be happier! But I stress every time about craft supplies—I want to bring materials, but then one thing leads to another and I’m traveling with a mini art studio. Here’s our definites: origami paper, a few rolls of #WashiTape, watercolor paints, paper, and markers. Tell me what #crafty stuff you bring on #vacation!
Celebrate the highly anticipated release of the third film in the @httydragon series (in theatres on February 22nd), with a little dress-up day for your puppy love. When How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World enthusiasts collide with #doglovers, you get this magical combination... a #ToothlessTheDragon dog costume!
.
If your kids come home from the theatre, fired up about Astrid, Hiccup, and Toothless, here’s your perfect afternoon activity! #sponsored #HowToTrainYourDragon
The last #valentinesday post of 2019! These are Sommer’s backpack tag #valentines. We had a little assembly line to get them done! #thatsawrap #lovetheonesyourewith #loveislove ❤️
Oliver fully art-directed his #valentines this year...heart center (we used wooden hearts that I spray-painted), and he came up with the #shrinkydink arrow idea. If you look realllly closely, you’ll see “From: Oliver” on either side shrunk down real small. And then of course we had to attach a piece o chocolate 🍫 to the back. Love that he didn’t shy away from going #allheart! ❤️ #proudmomma
How many of you out there are sitting at the kitchen table with your kid and a printed-out class list, deciding who gets pink, who gets blue, and what signing your #valentines with “love” means?
❤️
We are half-way through production over here and far so good. How’s your #loveletter assembly line going?
❤️
Crafts for @parents mag photographed by @danetashima
Handmade with ❤️ ... nothing better than that! This project is the perfect adult/child collaboration... have the kid cut the paper straws and thread them onto wire or pipe cleaners and the grown-up can twist it into a word.
❤️

Conversation hearts that won’t give you cavities! If you are in #nyc, you must come and craft with me on Saturday, February 9th at @artistsandfleas in Williamsburg from 12 to 3. We’ll be making all these cute baubles, and we’ll even have a gift wrap station so your kids can package up their gifs on the spot! (Address: 70 N. 7th Street)
❤️
Also there’s a link in my profile for peeps that live too far but wanna make one of their own!
An easy #valentine that just requires some paper, scissors, markers, and of course hands. Make a permanent #handheart gesture with this simple and sweet #valentinesdaycard that I made for @parents. (Photo by @danetashima) ❤️🧡💛💚💙
I remember those days when Sommer would come into our bed Every. Single. Night. And how I wished I could get through the night without being squeezed off my side of the bed.
🛌
Now as I look back at old pics in my phone, I realize how much I miss it—How much I miss waking up next to this little cherub with a wingspan twice her size. Anyone feel this same way?
